Vacation with Vanelli
What the heck is this? It’s an excuse to party with Vanelli & Friends as you immerse yourself in a unique Photography work flow! Take all the tidbits of insanity experienced with Vanelli during Photoshop World, multiply that tenfold, and bundle it up into a non-stop adventure. Come on, be brave, you can handle it!
The concept was hatched during Photoshop World one year. After a photo excursion in the desert, a member of V’s posse (people pulled into Vanelli’s gravitational force) said, “Hey we should kidnap Vanelli and take him on our vacation!“. BANG – Vacation with Vanelli was born. And on the seventh, eighth and ninth day the LORD, while still resting, shook his head and thought “What have I’ve done?”
On a serious note (you are not going to see many of these), Vacation with Vanelli is a unique style workshop that teaches the art of digital work-flow covering the FIVE P’s: Plan, Photograph, Process, Print and Post. Vanelli and friends travel to exciting places working on projects for their books and portfolio. Vacationers get a chance to work and learn along side these amazing photographers as they refine their own skills. Imagine having a personal instructor looking over your shoulder whispering tips and tricks!
Robert Vanelli
As a professional educator for over 28 years, Robert Louis Vanelli uses his unique energetic style to motivate and enrich the lives of thousands of students from all backgrounds. Affectionately known as Vanelli or V, he reaches out to many with his open and inquisitive nature, inspiring many by his own insatiable appetite for knowledge.
To sum up Vanelli and his vast skill set proves to be a difficult task, as he is most definitely not a man to be defined by conventional labels. He is a professional speaker, martial arts instructor, visual poet, photographer, technology consultant, web designer, and programmer, and that’s just a start.
His memberships include the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), Nikon Professional Services, and Professional Photographers of America (PPA). Vanelli has had the honor and privilege of working with many businesses and organizations such as State Farm, Sea World, Brevard County Schools, Staples, Cadwell Labs, and Superfoot Wallace.
The 5 P’s of Click to Print (Plan, Photograph, Process, Print, and Post) is a digital work flow developed by Vanelli to assist photographers in organizing their creativity.
Volunteering and creating outreach programs to help motivate children and teenagers is another of Vanelli’s passions. In 2006, he created Click for Kids, a photography based program teaching children the art of photography while instilling the moral values such as dedication, integrity, modesty, courtesy, and indomitable spirit.
Through his infectious enthusiasm, never-ending curiosity, and compassion Vanelli continues to inspire and motivate people while offering valuable lessons not only pertaining to photography and design, but on goal-setting and planning that can be applied to all areas of life.
